The Strategic Business Improvement Manager role is an exciting role at the heart of Nottingham City Council with an overview of all of the organisation?s business, including the Council Plan 2015-19, the Good to Great Transformation Journey and business planning. We are looking for an individual with an exceptional ability to build effective relationships and can build trust with and challenge senior managers and Councillors and can drive a focus on the Council?s priorities.
Managing a committed, dynamic and varied team of performance specialists, programme managers and transformation experts you will have the opportunity to influence the future direction of the Council.
The role sits within the HR and Transformation department and will work alongside and empower colleagues across the organisation to drive positive change across the organisation.
Key skills and attributes required for this role are:
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Experience and knowledge of transformation and/or performance management
An ability to engage with and provide effective challenge on a broad range of subjects
Able to deliver engaging a relevant presentations to diverse groups
