No Borders Project Officers
Epping Forest District, Chelmsford City and Lowewood Museums Partnership
Salary: 27,394 - 29,854 per annum plus 832 Inner Fringe Allowance per annum. Full time - 36 hours per week. Occasional weekend and evening working required.
Funded by Arts Council England, No Borders is a ground breaking partnership project of Epping Forest District, Lowewood and Chelmsford City Museums and we are seeking to employ highly motivated and experienced individuals for three fixed-term positions up until 31st March 2018. Led by Epping Forest District Council but working across the three museum services the successful candidates will work with the established teams to implement organisational transformation across the three museums.
Building on the recommendations of previous studies, the Commercial Manager will work to capitalise on the opportunities created by the recent HLF funded redevelopment at the Epping Forest District Museum, while working with the team at Chelmsford City Museum to explore maximizing the potential of a proposed redevelopment project there.
The Fundraising Manager will lead on the establishment of Cultural Development Trusts to support the future work of the museums; this post holder will also develop our fundraising strategies for the next five years.
Building on the partner museums strong local offer, the Public Engagement post will lead on developing programmes to engage with underrepresented groups in the museums audience and workforce and undertake a series of pilot projects to ensure opportunities for engagement and participation with our services are there for all.
We are seeking candidates who have excellent communication skills and are innovators in their approach to delivery.
