Income Officer - Visiting

Fixed term contract until 1 October 2017 to cover maternity leave Part time 18.5 hours per week Starting salary �26,638 pa pro rata rising to �29,598 pa pro rata with service plus car allowance. Do you like a challenge? We need you to be motivated, resilient and keen to deliver a great customer experience. Preferred is 1 year�s experience of income collection or money advice but this isn�t essential. More importantly, you�ll be well organised with brilliant people skills and a �can do� attitude. You�ll need: � Strong communication and negotiation skills � Experience of working with money advice agencies � Confidence to use own initiative � To deliver results � An understanding of welfare benefit reform � The ability to work well under pressure. You'll provide top notch face to face advice and support to customers on rent arrears and household budgeting. You�ll develop and maintain strong links with local authorities and support agencies. We�re available for customers from 08.00 � 20.00 (Mon �Fri) and 09.00 � 13.00 (Saturdays). We need you to be able to work flexibly within these hours. A clean driving license is essential.
